Unidentified floral object

SJ UFO

Creamy vanilla. Electric rim. Dusk sighting.

Currently unavailableNo cuttings in this release

SJ UFO does not so much bloom as hover.

Creamy vanilla petals are rimmed in electric pink like a neon forcefield, spiralling into a warm golden core that looks suspiciously powered from another galaxy.

The petals lift, twist and cup slightly, holding that mid-abduction shape as if the flower has paused just long enough for evidence.

Even the buds join the conspiracy: deep magenta little rockets waiting for launch.

SJ UFO is quirky, futuristic and completely unforgettable, the cultivar that makes people stop and ask what on earth, or just off it, is going on.

SJ UFO, on the record.

Her name, written in metal

She deserves better than a fading marker.

I label every plant in my collection with tags made by my son Brock at BrockMark. He permanently laser-engraves them into weatherproof anodised aluminium, finishes each one with a stainless-steel wire loop and checks the spelling before the plants are left to defend their own identities.

If your own collection has started answering to “that pink one near the fence”, Brock can restore order.

Register the temptation

The private register is an expression of interest, not a commitment to buy. It helps Steve understand which cultivar should be encouraged to make a future appearance.
