SB Seduction is dressed in the colours Perth does best just before summer slips out the side door.

Steve's collection notes describe soft sunset reds, deep blushing glows and petals that unfurl with slow confidence.

There is fire here, but not the shouty kind. It is warm, smouldering and very aware that you are looking.

Steve noted that the photos underplay her size and formation, which is exactly the sort of complaint a dramatic cultivar would insist on having recorded.

SB Seduction is temptation with an evening glow: one day closer to the end of summer, and making a scene about it.

She deserves better than a fading marker.

I label every plant in my collection with tags made by my son Brock at BrockMark. He permanently laser-engraves them into weatherproof anodised aluminium, finishes each one with a stainless-steel wire loop and checks the spelling before the plants are left to defend their own identities.

If your own collection has started answering to “that pink one near the fence”, Brock can restore order.
