Garden catwalk behaviour

Poxy Peony

Peachy coral. Pink tips. Zero desire to blend in.

Poxy Peony struts into the collection like someone left the garden gate open for fashion week.

Her petals are dipped in peachy coral with blushing pink tips and a dewy sunset glow.

There is tropical elegance here, but it comes with sass: rare, radiant and very much aware of the attention.

The name may raise an eyebrow, but the flower does all the explaining it needs to.

Poxy Peony is the girl who turns up overdressed and somehow makes everyone else look underprepared.

Poxy Peony is not available tonight. If she belongs on your private wish list, register interest and Steve can see the demand before the next release.

Her dossier

Poxy Peony, on the record.

The personality stays playful. The plant record stays precise—separating what is documented, what has been observed in this collection and what still needs confirmation. Every record is maintained by Steve as part of his private Perth collection.

Register the temptation

The private register is an expression of interest, not a commitment to buy. It helps Steve understand which cultivar should be encouraged to make a future appearance.

BrockMark plant tags, permanent cultivar labels, with an engraved tag reading definitely not the pink one

Her name, written in metal

She deserves better than a fading marker.

I label every plant in my collection with tags made by my son Brock at BrockMark. He permanently laser-engraves them into weatherproof anodised aluminium, finishes each one with a stainless-steel wire loop and checks the spelling before the plants are left to defend their own identities.

If your own collection has started answering to “that pink one near the fence”, Brock can restore order.

Quarantine rules apply.

Movement restrictions apply across the Perth metropolitan Quarantine Area. Before collection or delivery is arranged, the destination address and the current Management or Containment Zone rules must be checked using WA’s official polyphagous shot-hole borer guidance and interactive map.

Poxy Peony will only be supplied where movement is permitted under the requirements in force at the time. The image shown here is a supplied reference only; the current official map and Quarantine Area Notice are the authority.
